About

My name is Dawid and I’m an engineer.
I’m interested in programming, game development and server infrastructure.
Rust and Go are my favorite programming languages, though I’ve worked with many others like JavaScript and Ruby over the years. Zig is something I’d like to explore more in the future.
In recent years, I’ve been experimenting with the Bevy game engine. I’ve created numerous small prototypes that remain unfinished (and probably always will), but the learning experience has been invaluable.
I’m also a veteran infrastructure engineer with experience in most significant technologies from the past two decades. I’ve been in this field long enough to remember when we were called “sysadmins” and had to drive to datacenters to physically fix hardware issues.
From indinvidual servers to distributed systems of thousands of nodes and millions of users, I’ve seen it all. I love the challenge of building and maintaining complex systems, and I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and knowledge in this area.
